Blueberries
Fruit is pretty easy to work into your day - just toss fresh, washed fruit into your cereal, oatmeal, Vanilla Yogurt, green tea, or even Coke.  A lot of fruits can be cooked into pancakes or served in a bowl with ice cream.  Also, if you set a bowl of fruit out like you would candy, you’ll find yourself eating A LOT more fruit automatically, without even thinking about it.

Vegetables can be a little tricky - especially eggplant.  If you don’t really care for the taste of most vegetables, experiment with the seasonings and/or cooking methods.  My Recipe Website and Food Blog  have lots of recipes for both fruits and vegetables.

Most of the vegetables can be served in a tossed salad or pasta salad. Or they could be grilled and wrapped in a toritlla.  You could also make your own vegetable subways - just remember a killer sauce, otherwise you’ll have little more than salad on bread.  Alfalfa sprouts are good when tossed into pita bread with grilled chicken and bamboo shoots.  They’re also good in wraps.
Stir frying is another great way to up your veggie intake

Alfalfa Sprouts

Just get creative and find how many different ways you can work fruit and vegetables into your meals/snacks.  Soon you’ll be so healthy you’ll glow.

When we cast our bread upon the waters, we can presume that someone downstream whose face we will never know will benefit from our action, as we who are downstream from another will profit from that grantor's gift. - Maya Angelou (The Bear is 14 of 14)
